Roksanda FW24 / Fall Winter 2024 at London Fashion Week

Set against the backdrop of the illustrious Tate Britain, the ROKSANDA Fall Winter 2024 collection celebrates the beauty found within the human soul and its dialogue with nature. After visiting the place where one of her architectural heroes spent the last eighteen summers of his life, ROKSANDA embarks on a journey where the connection between family and history, human and nature, past and present co-exist.

Tailoring of Roksanda FW24 boasts a distinctive silhouette, juxtaposed against dramatic shoulders and tailored waistline in hues of Hickory and Dusk. Constructed and styled in modular forms, a note to Corbusier’s sculptural forms, tailoring is created in the same Melton Wool used in interiors and homes, places that provide refuge and comfort. Notably present is the introduction of slashed skirts, overlayed on top of trousers crafted from the same Melton Wool and bonded with flushes of Midnight and Chartreuse-Verse.

Elsewhere, panels akin to blankets wrap around accomplishing a union to the skin, with sweeping long trains that epitomise a marriage of historical inspiration and contemporary elegance.

Highlights of Roksanda Fall Winter 2024 collection are tapestries inspired by Corbusier’s mural paintings filled with the extravagance of interior fabrication and upholstery, formed with the gentleness of human hands.

An ‘Oak Wood’ print in hues of moss-green and rose, pays homage to the blank canvas witnessed by Le Corbusier. Championing geometric form, it serves as a background for rich tapestries that depict narratives of the every day, with illustrious fringes in vivid green that sway around the body.

Hand-made sculptural jewellery’ in light-gold manipulated silk satin form, echoing the spirit of art and craft. Structural shapes are depicted through Silk Satin in a Light Moss and Sage desired relation with nature, an appreciation of the artworks created by the architect in his later in life.

Sculptures are formed in finale pieces, reminiscent of waves crashing against the shore with boning precisely applied to panels of taffeta in Chartreuse-Verte and Midnight.

Leather is introduced to Roksanda FW24 collection, coming to form in a Sienna Suede skirt coated in a high-gloss black ‘cracked’ finish, revealing the deep Sienna colour beneath. In a similar style, a Sage leather trench coat, hand-sprayed with Chartreuse panelling, is a neat contrast against the matte suede.

Footwear is curated by ROKSANDA for FitFlop, illuminated by its signature colours throughout. These colours are further reflected in an alliance with Moution, a celebration of the intersection between athleisure and art.
