Contemplating nature’s minutiae as if observing the intricate lives of insects through the lens of microphotography, our journey began, endeavoring to distill the essence of these diminutive yet formidable beings. I am often jealous of her creations.

What is small? It is a portent.

What is a portent? It is a revelation.

What is clothing? It is a medium, and a shield.

What is a shield? It’s a threshold to the mystery underneath.

What Is underneath? A woman.

The gradual unveiling reveals the emergence of a resplendent creature through a transformative journey. In rough, gray, and neutral tones, reflections of a silver-green hue, each piece sheds layers slowly, akin to shedding one’s skin. Revealing her body with myriad shades, the woman mutates, melting into the enigmatic embrace of the night.

Who is she? A vision of strength, strewn with fragility, bathed in fabric.

What is fabric? It is a canvas. How does it move on her? It wraps and folds, protects and guards, and then peels away and reveals.

It’s the layers that protect us when nature is aggressive. Have you ever experienced wind piercing skin like Japanese scissors cut silk?

Drawn to noise and light, she moves with unique grace. Her armor, her final layer, exudes an undeniable presence — perhaps because of her beauty, her audacity, or her aura of confidence manifested in hues and spikes. It’s a silent warning: look, but don’t touch. After all, aren’t we all fiercely guarding our personal space and intimacy? The quest for beauty, transformation, and self-expression is universal.

What is an obsession? It is consuming fervor. What is your consuming fervor? It is to capture the gradual unfurling of a cocoon. What is craftsmanship? It is the harvest of time. What does nature mean to you? It is raw allure.
