Kerry Washington stuns in a custom Oscar de la Renta corseted, suspended V-neckline gown in shades of deep plum and lavender. A train of hand-dyed satin and velvet pearl-embellished orchids follows in her wake and trail up her bodice.

Each of the roughly 3,000 petals are hand dyed with some fully embellished with tonal bugle beads.

Inspired by Maleficent herself with the pointed neckline and deep hue of purple, this custom gown not only appealed to the theme of the gala but also to the dress code, The Garden of Time, with a blooming orchidscape wrapping the bodice.

In true Oscar de la Renta fashion, the exquisite fit and embroidery transports Kerry Washington to a world of floral sophistication.
