ROMBAUT Announces Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week Show, Celebrating 10-Year Anniversary
ROMBAUT is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated debut runway show, set to take place during the Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 during Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, at 7 PM. This special event marks a significant milestone as the Belgian brand celebrates its 10-year anniversary.
Founded in 2014, ROMBAUT has emerged as a pioneering force in the fashion industry, known for its commitment to sustainability, trailblazing material innovation, and forward-thinking footwear design. Over the past decade, the brand has undergone a transformative journey, evolving from humble beginnings to a renowned name celebrated for its avant-garde approach and ethical values, namely through its vegan approach.
ROMBAUT’s story is one of resilience and vision, navigating through initial struggles to carve out a unique space in the fashion world. The brand’s unwavering dedication to environmental responsibility and social consciousness has not only set new standards but also inspired a shift towards a more mindful industry.
As ROMBAUT celebrates its 10-year anniversary, the SS25 collection, baptized “PATH”, embodies the essence of its journey – a narrative through struggle, growth, and enlightenment. Over these 10 years, ROMBAUT has explored discipline through self-improvement, kindness, and environmental care.
Under the creative direction of Mats Rombaut, the show combined elements of Zen Buddhist and Taoist philosophy, Kung Fu, and modern environmental consciousness, reflecting ROMBAUT’s journey from humble beginnings to a trailblazing force in the fashion industry. The evening was a celebration of resilience, hope, and the brand’s dedication to creating a mindful and ethical future in fashion.
This year, the Paris-based brand draws inspiration from Shaolin Kung Fu to balance body, mind, and spirit, combining Zen Buddhist and Taoist philosophies with physical resilience. After Mats’ 4-month break in 2023, returning to the capitalist fashion system was challenging, but amidst A.I. dominance, violence, and declining religious influence, ROMBAUT finds meaning and hope in creating telling objects. Symbols of hope and future relics of the times we live in.
