Etro Men SS25 Explorer Culture Heritage

Etro Men SS25 / Spring/Summer 2025 Explorer Culture Heritage

It all started with a journey: a journey without boundaries through noble fabrics and artisanal weaves that Gimmo Etro, from the 1960s onwards, discovered and collected while exploring local products from other cultures and lands – from the textile mills in Como to the Scottish Highlands, African coasts, Kashmir, and Indonesia.

In Marco De Vincenzo’s vision, the designs on those fabrics are the foundations of a story that dives into the world of patterns that have shaped Etro’s creative heritage with a layering of inspirations, eras, and influences. The new collection is an immersion into the world of prints, a spontaneous fusion of original codes that have been part of Etro’s heritage since its early days as a textile company.

Details of Etro Men SS25 / Spring/Summer 2025, Paisley, stripes, and madras flow through a distinctive narrative, rooted in classic and modern aesthetics, mixed and matched on the key pieces of the male wardrobe: the jacket, raincoat, shirt, gilet, pants, and Bermuda shorts. Six silhouettes, decorated with eleven patterns, in two color variants, on a single fabric of viscose.

In his synthesis of the brand’s identifying elements, De Vincenzo crafts a kinetic vision marked by the collision of then and now: since each shape and figure, never an end in itself, evolves into new expressions and appearances, blending with other shapes and figures in a kaleidoscope of natural tones and pop hues. It’s an immersive experience where prints embody Etro’s essence and heritage.
