BUCI Fall/Winter 2024 / FW24 and Resort 2025 collection was inspired by a fantasy rooted in a reach for strength and magic. Designer, Mishka Ivanovic explained; “in the evenings, I work on our garments, letting a fantasy guide me into my dreams and imagining what I would wear. This year, I took risks that led to change, requiring me to be brave, strong and to feel beautiful. As I drifted to sleep, different fantasies came to me and inspired me with their strength and light. The collection is made up of 18 of these archetypes and the garments they came with. It is my hope to share the sense of strength and lightness they brought me, with our community.”
Within BUCI Fall/Winter 2024 / FW24 and Resort 2025 collection you will find sparkles, laughter, joy, darkness, pain, and prosperity all represented by new colors and patterns, BUCI developed. The color scheme is a variation of Melon, Mauve Silk, Mist green, Sparkling black chiffon, and slinky cutouts embellished by pearl moons. Silhouettes include silk ponchos to pleating cutouts, playing with a touch of flapper girl nostalgia while staying true to BUCI’s sexy, form fitting silhouettes.
ABOUT BUCI, BUCI was launched by designer Mishka Ivanovic as a Made in NY label. Named after a small town outside Belgrade in Serbia, where Ivanovic’s grandmother grew up, BUCI is starting to carve out a name to its ethical approach to fashion. Ivanovic commits to only using New York factories that pay workers a fair wage and, for materials, sustainably grown organic cotton, deadstock, and repurposed fabrics.
