Redemption Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 during Milan Fashion Week on Monday, September 17th, 2024 at 583 Park Avenue, New York. “Ten years have passed since we started Redemption” says Creative Director, Bebe Moratti. “The milestone moment, in the best rock ‘n roll tradition, deserves a greatest hits: not to celebrate, rather to reassess what we stand for.”

A lover of beauty and a fiercely independent mind, Bebe Moratti has molded Redemption on the assumption that rock and roll is essentially an attitude: an energetic, rebellious, free spirited one that is never at odds with elegance and sophistication. He has been exploring and stretching this belief collection after collection, building a distinctive vocabulary of shapes and fabrics, working on a language that is both timeless and timely, just like a rock anthem is.

Over the course of its first decade, Redemption has been playing its own song, ignoring passing trends and fads, defiantly consistent to its own codes which essentially celebrate beauty and independence of mind exploring precious ideas of elegance ditching a precious attitude.

Details of Redemption SS25 / Spring/Summer 2025, fo highlight the enduring continuity of the Redemption output, with key ideas such as sharp ‘n shapely tailoring and voluptuous dressing being tweaked, edited, refined, and ultimately evolved rather than endlessly overturned, the show is divided in two parts. The main gig is an extensive cherry picking of Redemption classics, while the second part features new anthems. The rock ‘n roll spirit, after all, is everlasting, and a greatest hits includes, de facto, unreleased tracks.

The Redemption greatest hits include a selection of couture gowns and the tailoring the audience of the brand already knows and cherishes: milestone moments from keypoint outings. The new Redemption collection, meanwhile, reiterates the same iconic styles, interpreting them anew in the refined fabrics – sablè silks, lurex pinstriped fine wools, fil coupè georgettes, envers satins, crepes ans jerseys – Bebe favors. It comprises faultless blazers, luxuriant blouses, precise trousers, draped dresses both long and short, with big bows or just flowing. Flaps, trains, asymmetries create movement. The palette unifies the two sections in one iconic sign: black, white, pink, silver and gold, with the unexpected addition of a shot of tangerine.

Mixing what’s been done with what is new, Redemption acknowledges a particular take on the act of getting dressed as a form of individual expression: one that stands on the credo that creating clothes, like a song, is just half of the job, while the rest is final interpretation on the side of the wearer, or the listener.
