The fundamental element of GAUCHERE is the expression of a minimalism. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection stands for a new perspective within a familiar framework, seeking to create the feeling of a tremor with varying degrees of intensity. To craft this new perspective, the idea of vibration became the driving force of the creative process.

The 27 looks of Gauchere SS25 are intentionally minimal, focusing on larger volumes that are contained within smaller ones, like two tectonic plates colliding, creating a movement and a twist between both layers. Suiting is made in linen and cotton canvas, without collars, featuring patch pockets and snap closures, bringing a utilitarian touch to the tailoring for this seasons. Always looking for a 24/7 versatility, while combining formal wear with casual wear. Aiming to create a certain vibration, either within monochrome or though color – blocking looks.

Crinkled nylon is lightly transparent, developed in casual volumes, sometimes paired with viscose and cold wool in tailored silhouettes. Others are made out of coated and thick canvas cotton. There is a contrast between crispy and smooth jerseys. These contemporary textures blend with more traditional materials such as lightweight cold wools or a faux solid Shantung.

GAUCHERE is a French prêt-à-porter house founded in 2013 by designer Marie-Christine Statz. The house embraces the non-exclusivity of formal wear and casual wear mixed with a subversive and less conventional femininity. Statz designs clothing with real people in mind, focusing on their individuality.
