Heliot Emil Spring/Summer 2025 at Paris Fashion Week

Heliot Emil Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 at Paris Fashion Week entitled ‘cultural construct artificial landscape’. What is nature and what is artificial? The stone you see next to this press release was purchased online. Ironic no?

Heliot Emil SS25 collection “CULTURAL CONSTRUCT ARTIFICIAL LANDSCAPE”, draws on the “Riverbed” installation by Olafur Eliasson, where visitors interacted with an artificial landscape. If you don’t know this piece, Google: Riverbed by Olafur Eliasson 2014 and you will understand better – we can’t legally put pictures of the piece in the press release (so please do).

Eliasson transformed the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art into a volcanic landscape. Heliot Emil Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 collection shows textures and fabric manipulations reminiscent of rivers and stones. The garments delve into the idea of contrast, in both fabric choices, design and combining HELIOT EMIL’s well-known technicality with fluid, organic elements.

The Heliot Emil SS25 collection’s color palette, directly inspired by the landscapes of Iceland, references the elements of Eliasson’s “Riverbed”. Volcanic black, stone colors and glacier white hints to a raw sense of nature. The textures reference the naturally formed streams and creeks in the glaciers of Iceland. And if you look up you will see the centerpiece of the runway.

HELIOT EMIL worked with ENCOR studio to create a 100cm installation made of electrochromic glass, in which the transparency of the material slides can be varied with electric current. This artificial current is another example of the tension between what is natural and what is artificial. The material in the art piece is further explored with wear-able glass sculptures worn by the models on the runway.

Additionally, for SS25, HELIOT EMIL unveils two key collaborations. With legendary sportswear brand PUMA and footwear brand STACCATO. A monochromatic capsule collection that combines HELIOT EMIL’s utilitarian design with PUMA’s sportswear expertise. Featuring footwear, accessories, and apparel, the collection integrates outdoor-inspired elements, all wrapped in HELIOT EMIL’s minimalist, technical craftsmanship. The second collaboration, with STACCATO, features different accessories, including a bag and five shoes designed with a sculptural sole. Heavy and morphed, the sole con-trasts with the sleek, minimalistic design of the upper parts with clean lines and an implicit elegance.

Overall, the whole team spent a lot of energy and time on Heliot Emil SS25 collection. HELIOT EMIL is industrial elegance. It’s a balance of form and function. And this collection is a visual dialogue between fluid shapes and refined simplicity. Hope you will enjoy.
