Rabanne FW25 / Fall/Winter 2025 collection showcases an innovative take on modern fur, blending elegance with untamed energy. Sumptuous, naturalistic coats flow with an opulent grace, while skirts constructed from bushy fur tails sway dynamically with each movement. Dossena’s vision sees fur not just as a symbol of luxury, but also as an untamed force, wrapping the wearer in both warmth and wildness. The mixture of restraint and exuberance weaves throughout the collection, from the structured wools and coated cottons to the more fluid, liberated elements of the design.
In this world of contrasts, classic silhouettes are twisted and redefined. Dossena plays with territory, merging interior and exterior through deconstructed pieces that challenge traditional tailoring. Kilts reveal controlled bursts of fur beneath their surface, while silvery fabrics peel back to expose hidden layers. Beaded scarves emphasize clean lines, and second-skin shines wrap around the body in fluid, sensual drapes. The interplay of textures, such as strategic slits and dimensional finishes, provides a surprising, tactile experience, enhancing the richness of each garment.
The color palette further intensifies the narrative of tension and release. Soft apricot, deep burgundy, and green glass form a grounding balance with cooler shades of blue, brown, and lilac. The use of color is deliberate, reflecting both warmth and coolness, much like the contrast between restraint and release.
