Marine Serre Fall/Winter 2025 collection Heads Or Tails is defined by its exploration of the iconic Ghost figure—a symbol of freedom, empowerment, and transformation. The Ghost is portrayed as a modern-day, otherworldly heroine, drawing from the worlds of David Lynch’s surreal narratives and the enigmatic allure of Irma Vep. These influences intertwine to create a visual narrative that not only showcases the collection but also tells a story of liberation and strength. The fashion film offers a fresh perspective on this figure, allowing it to evolve into a symbol of resistance and personal identity in an increasingly complex world.
The film’s soundtrack, composed by Para One, plays a vital role in accentuating the film’s Lynchian atmosphere. It layers a haunting Bulgarian choir over a powerful excerpt of Mario Savio’s iconic speech from his track Shin Sekai, paired with a moving tribute to composer Angelo Badalamenti, famous for his work with Lynch.
