Modern Matter x Undercover by Jun Takahashi Collaboration, Archive Reimagined: A Decade of Modern Matter Misprints (2010–2020)

UNDERCOVER is proud to unveil a groundbreaking collaboration with Modern Matter founder Olu Odukoya and designer Jun Takahashi. This project is a creative dialogue between Odukoya and Takahashi. Together, they revisit the Modern Matter archive of misprints—spanning a decade of artistic experimentation from 2010 to 2020. Using collage techniques, Takahashi has carefully reinterpreted and reworked each piece from the archive, transforming past imperfections into bold new creations that bridge the worlds of art, design, and fashion.

Accompanying this collection is a special edition zine, Modern Matter Q&A Chronicles, which delves into the stories, inspirations, and creative processes behind the project. The zine is paired with an exclusive Modern Matter x UNDERCOVER / Q&A of Jun Takahashi T-shirt—a wearable extension of the collaboration that embodies the spirit of reinvention and creativity.
