PALMWINE IceCREAM Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Berlin Fashion Week
PALMWINE IceCREAM unveils its Spring Summer 2026 collection entitled MUSE. A Celebration of Women, Craft, and Nature.
Following last season’s deeply personal FW25 collection LIFE MOODBOARD, which explored themes of time, transformation, and memory, PALMWINE IceCREAM returns with its Spring/Summer 2026 collection — a luminous tribute to women and their fundamental role in life, creativity, and community.
Inspired by the powerful presence of women around founder Kusi Kubi in both London and Accra, the collection builds naturally on the emotional storytelling of previous seasons. SS26 introduces a more focused take on womenswear, with silhouettes that are sensual, playful, and celebratory – marking a shift from the longer, looser shapes of AW25 toward skin-revealing, fitted forms that reflect the season’s warmth and energy.
Craftsmanship remains central to PALMWINE IceCREAM DNA. Every piece is handmade in Ghana using upcycled and deadstock materials, with techniques that honor both tradition and innovation. This season, naturally dyed leather from northern Ghana plays a leading role, colored with tree bark and sun-drying methods passed through generations. Other key materials include handwoven cotton, sheer organza, mesh, and richly textured deadstock fabrics.
PALMWINE IceCREAM SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection features pieces such as a chainmail dress, a leather and mesh ballerina corset (crafted over two days), green naturally dyed leather pants, and hand-painted giraffe-print boots. Accessories take on new importance this season — with symbolic earrings (featuring figures of women, spoons, houses), wooden bangles, and hand-painted leather bags all adding layered meaning and artisanal value to the looks. The palette draws from earthy, clay-based tones — browns, dark burgundy, orange, and shades of green — evoking the natural world and echoing the outdoor show setting: a space surrounded by vegetation, celebrating African landscapes in contrast to the rapid urbanisation of its cities.
As PALMWINE IceCREAM presents its second runway show in Berlin, SS26 affirms a sense of continuity — connecting the inaugural collection honouring Kusi’s mother, the Berlin-awarded AW25 collection dedicated to a late friend, and now this joyful ode to women.
About the brand, PALMWINE IceCREAM is a fashion brand founded by Kusi Kubi that fuses diverse tastes, cultural emotion, and bold creativity. Bridging London and Accra, it redefines style through a blend of casualwear and regal opulence. Roots in Ghana, After returning to Ghana in 2018, Kubi drew inspiration from Accra’s Kantamanto Market and the rich traditions of his homeland, launching PALMWINE IceCREAM in 2020. Signature Style, The brand reimagines second-hand materials into genderless garments that merge everyday comfort with grandeur—think gold-accented leather trousers, chainmail-layered tees, and boots embroidered with golden thread, reflecting Kubi’s Ashanti heritage. Philosophy, As Kubi told Dazed, PALMWINE IceCREAM blends “tastes and feelings… not necessarily meant to be combined,” creating a bold, unfamiliar aesthetic that challenges norms. Sustainability, With a commitment to “reconstruct, re-use, and reduce,” PALMWINE IceCREAM stands apart from fast fashion, valuing ethical production and creative reuse over excess.
