Herskind Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Copenhagen Fashion Week entitled “I am woman, I am fearless”
Herskind SS26 collection from Herskind sets the bar higher than ever before. It’s a celebration of contrasts – of sensual silhouettes and tailored sharpness, of soft transparency and architectural volume, of the many sides of modern femininity. The Herskind’s signature balance between masculine and feminine remains – but this season, the scale tilts toward the power of the feminine with unapologetic grace.
“We never wanted to narrow us down to a type. What we care about is a woman’s mindset – her strength, her curiosity, her confidence in being many things at once,” says Founders Birgitte Herskind and Andres Hess. That idea – of being both/and, rather than either/or – pulses through every stitch of the collection.
Key styles include sculptural ankle-length skirts that hug the waist and hips before blooming into voluminous shapes, worn with chic corset tops or crisp white shirts depending on the mood. Lightweight harem pants are embroidered with sequin florals or crafted in citrine yellow or soft black viscose, styled with peplum tops, bikini bandeaus, or oversized blazers. Blazer sleeves unzip and transform into vests, while transparent silk organza skirts with built-in briefs walk the line between dressed and undressed.
“I believe in skirts for SS26,” says Birgitte. “There’s freedom in them – and power too.” That belief shows in styles ranging from ultra-short, pleated minis with leather belts to flowing maxi skirts styled with strapless tops that echo their silhouettes. The iconic little black dress is this season reimagined with balcony necklines and lingerie detailing, while the caramel-colored, fitted blazer with sculptural shoulders define the waist without restricting the spirit.
Colors are bold yet refined: Herskind’s signature black, white, brown and red, alongside citrine, soft blush, and off-white crisp denim. From lace-trimmed bodysuits and staple rib knits with unexpected skirt attachments, to the essential barrel-leg jeans and slouchy fold-over leather bags – every detail speaks of conscious design and curated complexity.
The SS26 muse is the decisive city woman – deliberate in her choices and spirit. She knows what she’s doing, what she wants, and exactly what she wears. And she’ll never let her clothes outshine her – only underscore her essence. As the collection echoes the lyrics of its unofficial soundtrack, “I am feminine, I am masculine, I am anything I want” – one thing is clear: she’s got everything going for her; and we are here to cheer her on.
