RAY CHU Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at London Fashion Week

RAY CHU SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 Illuminates the Runway with Oceanic Romance and Sustainable Brilliance, Crystalline tailoring, gender-fluid silhouettes, and playful storytelling define a collection inspired by Taiwan’s midnight shores and emotional resilience.

For Spring/Summer 2026 RAY CHU takes inspiration from the poetic allure of the ocean at dusk and the luminous “blue tears” that glisten along Taiwan’s midnight shores. The SS26 collection embodies feelings of resilience and an unyielding spirit, fusing cultural narratives with sharp tailoring and a sustainable design ethos.

At the core of RAY CHU SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection this season is RAY CHU’s signature suiting, redefined with structured shoulders and cinched waists to create powerful, sculpted proportions. Embellished with Swarovski® crystals through hot-fix, layered textile treatments, and bonding techniques, transforming Twist-Detail Asymmetric Evening Maxi Dress into radiant, eye-catching statements. Original RAY CHU looks are reimagined in crystal formations, catching light with dynamic brilliance. Sustainability remains a cornerstone of the RAY CHU brand, with plant-based upcycled fabrics woven throughout the collection. This season sees the addition of textiles which bring further sensory elements to the garments, including a scented mint based fabric, and jersey pieces like T-shirts created from Crystalline Ice plant fibers which have cooling effects. Lace detailing, hook-and-stud trims, and sparkling chain embellishments enrich the collection. Each piece reflects the brand’s pursuit of conscious craftsmanship without compromising creativity.

The collections’ colour story unfolds in fiery reds, cornflower blue, and a striking lemon yellow, blending vibrancy with modern sophistication. SS26 also brings fresh new prints, designed in collaboration with artist Peng Cong. The latest prints continue the striking colour palette, capturing the essence of the Ray Chu brand by translating its tenacious yet effortless, ever-renewing energy through two distinct perspectives: the macro and the micro. One print explores how a tiny luminous species undergoes non-linear transformations to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, while the other magnifies the intricate details of an organism, unveiling the unique ecology it inhabits. Designed with both editorial impact and everyday versatility, the collection champions gender fluidity, inclusivity, and self-expression.

Creativity doesn’t stop with clothing this season for RAY CHU. SS26 showcases the first collaborative eyewear collection from designers RAY CHU and Victor Wong. Inspired by Wong’s signature “W” frame silhouette and RAY CHU’s unique use of colour, the pair create a stunning collection of eyewear pieces that echo CHU’s creative heartbeat. With the aid of AI-powered cutting technology and three-dimensional craftsmanship, RAY CHU and Victor Wong’s joint avant-garde spirit is fused into each frame, elevating the eyewear with a sculptural presence and tactile richness. The designs also introduce a bold playful new concept – transforming the classic “W” cutout to hold interchangeable flower accessories that echo the twilight coastal scenery and emotional dialogues that RAY CHU seeks to portray in his SS26 collection. The collaboration showcases a groundbreaking design language and unique artistic vision, embodying both avant-garde aesthetics and craftsmanship innovation, and delivers a striking highlight to the Spring/Summer 2026 fashion season.

RAY CHU SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection also marks the continuation of RAY CHU’s collaboration with Japanese sexual wellness brand, TENGA Japan, co-creating statement showpieces inspired by TENGA’s iconic cup and its signature wavy textures—an echo of the ocean waves that shape the collection’s narrative. Bringing a playful twist to the runway, the partnership introduces the slogan “Spill the T”—a witty evolution from the previous “What’s the T.” Here, “T” stands for both TENGA and tea [aka gossip], weaving humour into fashion storytelling. The phrase is further translated into bold prints across garments, infusing the collection with cheeky visual energy alongside its refined tailoring. With this collaboration TENGA continues their vision of “creating happiness by enriching the sexual lives of people around the world”. With SS26, RAY CHU strengthens its mission to merge storytelling, innovation, and responsibility—offering a wardrobe that speaks to progressive retailers and global consumers while reshaping contemporary fashion with emotional depth and environmental awareness.
