TOGA Spring/Summer 2026 at London Fashion Week

TOGA Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at London Fashion Week entitled Ordinariness, Mediocrity, Versatility

Watching a 30-minutes interview on the artist Claes Oldenburg, the question of how a simple thing can be made unexpected and unique began stirring in my mind.

After showing the previous collection, which addressed form and formality, I wanted to create pieces distanced from the complex and intellectual or the appearances thereof.

But I didn’t want to make something merely upbeat. Instead, I hoped to more simply capture things as they are and generate new forms from them.

I wanted to pay attention to details, picking up, for example, the form of a scooped ice cream, transformed upon landing on the ground, as well as the sadness one feels from dropping ice cream.

TOGA SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 new collection was created with the above in mind. It takes ordinary clothes without unique qualities and transforms them to be suitable for various occasions.
