Cem Cinar Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Paris Fashion
For Spring/Summer 2026, Cem Cinar draws inspiration from the tulip, a flower that has journeyed across eras, mirroring his own path from Turkey to the Netherlands, and now Paris. Revered in Ottoman gardens and cultivated in Dutch soil, the tulip becomes a quiet symbol of heritage, transformation, and dual belonging. Its form shapes the collection: pleats echo the geometry of tulip heads, while elongated, asymmetrical cuts follow the curve of their stems. These natural gestures are translated into garments that blend precision and fluidity, where structure meets spontaneity.
Details of Cem Cinar SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026, The palette is refined and deliberate: black and white form the core, grounding the collection in clarity and contrast, while touches of blue, deep and electric, surface like unexpected petals in bloom. Textures tell a story of tension and balance. Crisp poplins, washed denims, and classic check wools introduce a rugged, utilitarian edge, while fluid satins and transparent layers soften the silhouette. Raw seams and unfinished hems are intentionally exposed. Cem Cinar continues to work at the intersection of tradition. Crafted between Paris, Turkey, and the Netherlands, the collection references cultural craft and contemporary technique. A wardrobe of opposites: sharp yet soft, refined yet raw, romantic yet grounded. A collection that embraces imperfection and leans into beauty where things begin to fray. In SS26, the tulip is not simply a decoration, it is metaphor. Rooted in history, blooming forward.
