Francesca Liberatore closes the Italian Alta Moda event in Tashkent after her success at MFW SS26
Francesca Liberatore, immediately following the success of her SS26 collection presented during the last Milan Fashion Week, flies to Tashkent to close the Italian Alta Moda event curated by Stefano Dominella under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Embassy.
Once again, Liberatore confirms herself as an international voice and champion of Made in Italy around the world, as well as an international reference for new generations, with a creative language always attentive to historical and geographical contingencies.
In the Francesca Liberatore Couture collection, compositional freedom is a project of rebellion against the constraints of clothing on the body. The elements, which vary even when composing parts of the same unit, range across different silhouettes, cultural references, and temporal references. Velvet and crepe de chine, macramé and lace, pequin satins and romantic ramage alternate with loose, flowing volumes, boule gathers, and flowing lines, creating a continuous wave-like movement. Purple and burgundy, pink and brown, ecru and ice with hints of Turkish red and peacock blue for a rich, at times opulent, and cultured look. A collection that nods to the Belle Époque, a complex and extraordinary period like our own, decadent and luxurious.
“The fundamental part of my fashion ‘journeys’ is to momentarily change the lives of the people I’m with, from the assistants I find on site, interns and professionals, to the international audience with whom, despite our different cultures, backgrounds, nationalities, or beliefs, we find ourselves united by the aesthetic project. I find that, when this is as successful as it was this time, fashion truly has a great meaning,” says Liberatore
