CHARINYEH Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Taipei Fashion Week entitled Dispelling Dampness, Replenishing Qi: The Power of Self-Healing. An Eastern Philosophy of Healing for the Modern Mind and Body.
On October 18, 2025, Taiwanese designer brand CHARINYEH presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Inspired by the Eastern philosophy of Qi, designer Chia-Ling Yeh combined three-dimensional tailoring, layered structures, and breathable natural fibres to create a poetic dialogue between body, mind, and contemporary fashion.
Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine’s principle of replenishing Qi and dispelling dampness, the collection explores physical and emotional harmony. Flowing lines resemble meridians, while cupping-inspired embossing and relief detailing translate healing symbols into a wearable language, reflecting CHARINYEH’s philosophy: clothing as a bridge between body and soul.
Founded in 1985, CHARINYEH draws from Taiwan’s cultural heritage, transforming local memories and natural sensibilities into a modern design vocabulary. With a focus on Eastern Contemporary Identity that transcends gender, the brand balances emotion, culture, and sustainability. Following a showcase at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo in September 2025, the Taipei Fashion Week presentation reflects both aesthetic evolution and a meditation on restoration, continuity, and renewal in the brand’s 40th year. CHARINYEH prioritises longevity, versatility, and emotional resonance, using EU eco-certified fabrics to reduce environmental impact. The brand also embraces gender fluidity and body awareness, offering inclusive and meaningful experiences for wearers of all identities.
