Ssstein X Umbro Collaboration just released

ssstein collaborates with UMBRO. A collaboration with UMBRO, the football brand founded in Manchester, England. The project was born from Kiichiro Asakawa, ssstein designer’s deep respect for football culture and his admiration for UMBRO’s iconic football uniforms from the 1990s.

For this ssstein collaboration, particular attention was given to UMBRO’s connection with the England national team, who won the World Cup held in England in 1966. Beyond designing uniforms, UMBRO produced more than 5,000 types of garments to suit every occasion—from training and rest to matches—reflecting the brand’s dedication to supporting not only the game itself but also the players’ daily lives.

The Umbro x ssstein collection features eight styles across a wide range of categories, including a padded jacket in cotton/nylon, a track set up in linen/nylon, as well as sweatshirt and denim pieces. Each item embodies ssstein’s signature focus on material quality and silhouette, resulting in products that are simple and minimal yet carry a distinctive mood. This collaboration represents a refined interpretation of the relationship between football culture and everyday life.
