Mugler Introduces First Expression by Miguel Castro Freitas for Pre-Collection SS26 The Wardrobe of Identities.
Paris, France — The House of Mugler unveils The Wardrobe of Identities: a seasonal exploration of timeless forms and transformative styles, in the first visual narrative by Creative Director, Miguel Castro Freitas. This Wardrobe Pre-Collection SS26 explores the new archetypal pieces, conceived as a living wardrobe in motion. Each core item is designed to express signature and evolution — garments that recall the architectural power of Mugler while proposing new codes of movement, fluidity, and form.
From sculpted tailoring to cascading satin and jersey, from defined shoulders to hourglass waists, the Wardrobe of Identities is the celebration of new powerful silhouettes by Miguel Castro Freitas.
The Wardrobe of Identities visuals from Mugler Pre-Spring 2026 Campaign, lensed by photographer Reto Schmid and styled by Robbie Spencer, celebrate the many selves we carry within us: the silhouettes we inhabit, the personas we shift through, the quiet metamorphosis and cinema that define our modern existence. Libby Bennett inhabits the freedom to change with duality, sophistication, and playfulness.
The collection is available from December 2025 on mugler.com and in selected boutiques worldwide.
