ACT N°1 Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Milan Fashion Week
ACT N°1 FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 collection explores creativity as a powerful instrument of change, revealing how the clothes we wear every day can carry profound meaning. The creative process is guided by a responsible hierarchy rooted in ethical human values and in the use of upcycled materials that would otherwise be discarded, transforming waste into expression. The garments are born from a continuous dialogue between cultures and belief systems. The project amplifies marginalized voices and involves collaborations with indigenous women, celebrating their craftsmanship and giving visibility to their work. It represents an ongoing investigation into shape, construction, and pattern making, with the ambition of rewriting the rules of dressing by deconstructing and reinventing the classical wardrobe.
An in-depth study of pattern making has enabled a radical reinterpretation of each garment through recalibrated silhouettes, redefined volumes, and the creation of items that are both structured and fluid. The ACT N°1 project seeks to recreate classics while pushing them beyond convention, expressing a naïve spirit of studied harmony with a deliberately casual effect. Sculptural objects exaggerate distorted and asymmetrical bodies, adapting naturally to different physiques and challenging traditional notions of fit. Layering becomes a metaphor for the multiple facets of human identity, translated into overlapping garments that reveal complexity and transformation.
Throughout the development of ACT N°1 FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 collection, the designer collaborated with companies and communities on projects that placed craftsmanship at the core of the creative process, reaffirming it as a fundamental value. A small capsule of leather items was created in collaboration with LINEAPELLE, bringing to life patchwork pieces conceived as one-of-a-kind works.
With the support of DEYI, the project extended to communities of spinners and weavers in Rongjiang and Congjiang counties, in Guizhou, China, where cotton fabrics are still produced on small hand looms, preserving ancestral techniques. In collaboration with GOYOL, a knitwear collection of pure cashmere produced in Mongolia was developed, highlighting the value of raw materials and artisanal processes. Finally, together with the Italian button manufacturer RIBL, vintage buttons that had remained unused for over 25 years were recovered and applied to shirts, jackets, and garments throughout the collection. These buttons were also used to create two exceptional pieces, each entirely embroidered with more than 25,000 buttons, requiring over 800 hours of meticulous hand embroidery.
