GANNI Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Paris Fashion Week
There is a stillness inside GANNI FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 presentation. A pause before the air tightens and the wind gathers force. Stone rests low across the floor in varied, organic forms. Soft plaids, blankets and delicate lace drape and gather against their surfaces, holding tension between strength and softness. Brushed reflective platforms elevate the mannequins, introducing light, depth and dimension. At the centre of the room stands a 2.5-metre-high rock. Longtime friend of the house, Danish painter Linus Alexander Hübell Salic, works live within the space, painting directly onto stone in real time, transforming the installation into a living, evolving expression of collaboration.
GANNI FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026, the Inspired by the harsh winters of Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup’s hometown of Hirtshals in Northern Denmark, the collection draws from a landscape shaped by wind and sea. Growing up there meant living within the elements rather than observing them from a distance. Nature is powerful and fragile at once. That same tension echoes in the women who shaped Ditte’s world: writers, musicians and artists who were both strong and tender, refusing narrow definitions of femininity.
The GANNI Woman’s wardrobe holds weight and delicacy side by side. Chunky knitwear, blanket skirts and faux shearling coats wrap the body with warmth, layered over lace, ruffles and lingerie cutlines that trace the form beneath. Empire lines, waistcoats and suspenders recall historic underpinnings, grounded in heavy wool and sculpted outerwear that feel protective. Dresses skim close before falling into dramatic hems, while raw edges and elongated metal zip pullers introduce a practical edge.
Print and colour absorb the season’s mood. Leopard is enlarged and reworked, layered with checks and electric florals against darker grounds. Browns and beiges echo earth and stone, punctuated by green, purple and yellow. Silhouettes expand with protective volume, where girlish references meet sharper attitude. The Very Bou Bag debuts as an evolution of the house’s signature silhouette, defined by a flap closure and a GANNI Butterfly lock detail. The Kat Shoulder Bag returns in faux shearling finishes. The Jenny High Boot builds on last season’s ballerina with a fold-over collar and studded trim, joined by a lower, slouched counterpart.
Alongside its recent B Corp recertification, GANNI advances its Fabrics of the Future initiative with three developments this season: Ohoskin® and Oleatex®, leather alternatives derived from orange and olive oil production waste, and InResST®, a recycled nylon engineered from discarded ocean fishing nets, used across puffers and soft accessories.
“Living so close to nature, you learn that toughness and beauty can exist at once. The women who have always inspired me carry that same balance, living creatively on their own terms. At GANNI, we believe that hyperfemininity holds power, and this collection reflects that spirit.”— Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director
For Fall/Winter 2026, the GANNI Woman stands her ground. Like the landscape that surrounds her, she carries both strength and softness. She does not choose between them. She lives where they meet. And in that space, she finds her power.
