Vivetta Pre-Spring / Resort 2027 at Milan Fashion entitled HAWAIIAN ROYALTY

An unique fragrance disrupts English restraint. In the Hawaiian Royalty imagined by Vivetta for the Resort / Pre-Spring 2027 collection. An arrival in full ceremonial attire beneath the Pacific sun. An orchid lei around the neck, an impeccable tailored suit, the wind moving through the palm trees. An inspiration born from research into the photographic archives documenting the travels of the British royal family. Beginning with the young Queen Elizabeth II welcomed to Hawaii in the 1960s, and later Diana Spencer’s visit in the 1980s. Two icons, two eras. Reinterpreted through a contemporary, almost cinematic lens. The atmosphere evokes the relaxed and slightly surreal luxury of The White Lotus: impeccably dressed guests moving through oceanfront resorts, international executives, heiresses, and sophisticated travellers immersed in tropical landscapes.

Details of Vivetta Resort / Pre-Spring 2027, Honolulu Queens. Tailoring discipline meets tropical lightness. The silhouettes borrow from the codes of the British monarchy, with boxy jackets featuring structured shoulders, graphic coats, pencil skirts, enamelled jewel buttons, contrasting trims, and coordinated ensembles. A breeze of fluid femininity runs through the collection. Shift dresses with Eighties-inspired proportions emerge as contemporary revenge dresses. Slipped-on silhouettes recall the shirt-inspired DNA that has become one of Vivetta’s signatures. Alongside them, the Profili – faces carved into jackets – and the brand’s iconic hand-shaped collars. Architectural silhouettes and modular tailoring are complemented by oversized flounces and hyper-geometric cuts, brought to life through removable peplums, pleated overskirts, transformable belts, and martingale details.

Vivetta’s man may be a tourist by chance, yet he arrives in Hawaii without relinquishing his refined elegance or surrendering to clichés. Genderless pieces create a dialogue with the womenswear offering. Relaxed tailoring, oversized shirts, tailored shorts, and wide-leg trousers define a silhouette that is effortless yet impeccable. Orchids, the emblematic flowers of the celebrated archipelago, run throughout the collection in prints, embroideries, and appliqués worn like necklaces across dresses. Cady and structured cottons shape the collection’s more tailored dimension, while Vivetta’s signature poplin enters a new realm. Natural-fibre neoprene, taffeta-effect nylon, crêpe de chine, and pleated constructions add depth and movement. Surfaces become three-dimensional through the layering of floral jacquards, coloured chiffons, and handcrafted broderie details. The result is a tapestry-like effect, where stratified botanical elements evoke lush tropical vegetation.

Royalty leaves the palace and arrives at the ocean’s edge. Woven raffia hats reinterpret the iconic silhouettes traditionally associated with the British monarchy. Sandals and ballet flats are embellished with leather floral appliqués and removable decorative elements. Jewel clips can also be worn on jacket lapels or collars. The hummingbird, the season’s mascot, appears on brooches, earrings, and pendants. A distinctive mood references the codes of 1960s high jewellery and the Queen Elizabeth’s most beloved pieces. Multi-strand pearl necklaces with turtle clasps, double bracelets, and decorative brooches make their appearance. Always with a touch of irony.
