Malo Italia Store In The Heart Of The Milan City’s Historic Fashion Quarter

Milan, June 17, 2026 — Malo Italia opens Malo House Milan at Via della Spiga 30, in the heart of the city’s historic fashion quarter. Malo House Milan brings together collection, client service, private appointments and membership within an intimate Milanese setting. The space gives form to Malo’s new chapter: an independent Italian house rooted in cashmere and fine-gauge knitwear, restored through product, design, material intelligence and a deep relationship with its clients.

The store space has the rhythm of a private Milanese apartment: a sequence of rooms, warm wood, textured walls, soft carpets, satin brass, a library, a salotto and shelves of folded cashmere held in quiet light. Clients are received with care, surrounded by the textures, colors and proportions that define Malo. The interiors were developed in collaboration with SSStudio and Axiis, who translated Malo’s world into space through proportion, material and restraint. The project draws on the lineage of modern Italian design, from the rigor of Gio Ponti to the material intelligence of Carlo Scarpa, as a living sensibility expressed through texture, light and use.

That design literacy continues through a considered selection from Living Divani, the Italian house known for its quiet architectural approach to interiors. Pieces include the Clan sofa and Track bench by David Lopez Quincoces, the Gala armchair and sofa and Era tables by David Lopez Quincoces; the Lemni armchair by Marco Lavit; the sculptural, yet linear Wedge table by Arik Levy; the Kasumi low tables by Mist-o; and the Kiwi table by Keiji Takeuchi. Each piece has been chosen for the same qualities Malo seeks in a garment: proportion, tactility, presence and ease.

Malo House Milan introduces the house’s membership model in physical form. Malo House is a private client space created for clients who appreciate exceptional cashmere, Italian craft, thoughtful production and garments designed to live with them over time.

Membership brings clients closer to the house through collection previews, personal appointments, selected access to limited pieces, archive-informed projects and Malo Forever, the house’s repair and restoration service. It extends Malo’s philosophy of care beyond the moment of purchase and into the continuing life of the garment.

Founded in Florence in 1972, Malo has built more than half a century of archive knowledge across cashmere, fine-gauge knitwear, color and noble fibers. Its world moves through Italy across coast, city and mountain: the light of Portofino, the discipline of Milan and the shelter of the Alps. Malo House Milan gives that world a door to walk through. “Malo House Milan brings the idea of Malo into physical being: it is Italian, warm, considered and private. Everything in it has been chosen with the same attention we give to a color, a fiber, a stitch or the proportion of a garment. Malo House is the place for clients to encounter the brand through product, service and care.” — Michelle Kessler-Sanders, CEO
