HARMONT & BLAINE Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Milan Fashion Week
HARMONT & BLAINE SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 entitled Tides of Color. A new season of style comes to life where land meets sea: an explosion of energy, light, and contrast, where colors and shades blend and evolve across the surface of the shimmering waters of the Mediterranean. Much like the ebb and flow of the tides, the wardrobe transitions from urban landscapes to the beautiful vistas of an Italian summer, highlighting meticulous fabric research and sophisticated tactile and visual expressions.
LOW TIDE – Effortless pairings bring earthy depth into the realm of urban easywear. Warm tones of terracotta, ochre, beige, and dove gray – refreshed by pops of green, lilac, and light blue – create an informal look driven by monochrome layering and ’70s-inspired tapestry motifs. The fabric selection spotlights premium wools and silks, stretch soft-shell, denim, and garment-dyed cavalry twill. Cotton and cotton-cashmere blend knitwear is enriched by jacquard stitching, intarsia, and striped patterns, while the shirting range shifts from micro-geometric prints to solid colors. The 100% Made in Italy “Artigianalità a Colori” capsule renews Harmont & Blaine’s collaboration with specialized workshops and local artisans. The line features reinterpreted timeless outerwear – such as the safari jacket in lightweight wool or linen and silk – alongside premium knitwear and tailored trousers.

RISING TIDE – As the season progresses, the narrative moves toward Mediterranean coasts and islands. The palette transitions into rich, saturated hues: red, yellow, pink, and apple green capture the vitality of summer fruits and the carefree spirit of resort destinations. The nautical vibe is reimagined with a clean aesthetic and a sporty attitude: color-blocking plays with stripes of varying scales; crepe cotton and linen blend with technical fabrics; monogram motifs alternate with sailing-inspired patches and graphics. Must-have pieces include denim finished with the signature wave embroidery on the back pocket, while the iconic Vietri Polo is restyled through the “Piazzetta” concept, featuring collars embellished with patchworks of shirting fabrics in mismatched stripe patterns. Among the highlights, the “Candy Stripes” theme embraces the joyful spirit of a new multicolor stripe print, which also vibrates across the shirts, sweatshirts, and matching leashes of the “My Dog & I” capsule.

HIGH TIDE – In the final stretch of the journey, the use of linen stands as an ode to absolute relaxation and vintage resort atmospheres. The pace slows down, evoking seaside backdrops and long days spent basking in the sun. The bright, luminous palette softens to pastels punctuated by vibrant touches of orange, purple, and azure. T-shirts come alive with a 3D rendition of Blaine the dachshund. Beachwear features micro-patterns and marine prints that echo the cyclical motion of the waves, while trousers and Bermuda shorts take on the weightlessness of parachute and ultra-fine cottons.
