Kasia Kucharska Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Berlin Fashion Week or AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

Kasia Kucharska SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection explores the idea of trompe-l’œil, the subtle illusion between appearance and reality. A performance of daily gestures when reality feels different. It examines the gap between how we appear and how we actually feel. Strong on the outside, distracted on the inside. This tension is reflected in the garments. We work with familiar archetypes such as trench coats, denim jackets and knitwear, which appear as expected, yet they all are handcrafted from latex. Subtle glitches, missing details, multiplied elements, and childlike scribbles disrupt the illusion and reveal another layer beneath the surface.

Kasia Kucharska SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 presentation is further realized in collaboration with Nike and AAS and extends this idea into space. A series of characters move through familiar everyday routines, performing theirtwisted version of normality. Everything appears familiar. But nothing is quite what it seems.
