Marina Viotti wears Julien Fournié Haute Couture creation for the Concert de Paris, broadcast live from the Champ-de-Mars this evening, 13 July.
Mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti in the fireworks dress from the first misfits collection for the concert de Paris Exceptionally brought forward to the eve of Bastille Day, the 14th edition of the Concert de Paris open the national celebrations at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, ahead of the City of Paris fireworks display.
Marina Viotti appear in a Julien Fournie Haute Couture a strapless dress draped in plum tulle with beetle-like highlights, layered with a cross-over kimono dress in black silk tulle with shimmering accents, enhanced with fireworks embroideries.
Born on the runway of the First Misfits collection, the Robe Feu d’artifice finds its natural stage at the Champ-de-Mars: its embroideries echo the luminous detonations that will set the Paris sky ablaze. In dressing Marina Viotti for this exceptional stage, the Maison Julien Fournié continues its dialogue with the great voices of the operatic scene, where the rigour of couture meets that of performance.
The Concert de Paris, Under the baton of British conductor Daniel Harding, this new edition of The Concert de Paris brings together the Orchestre National de France, the Chœur and Maîtrise de Radio France, surrounded by an exceptional cast of international soloists — among them Marina Viotti. Hosted by Stéphane Bern, the evening will be broadcast live on France 2 and carried simultaneously by the EBU–Eurovision network in more than 70 countries, making the Concert de Paris one of the world’s foremost classical music events, followed by several million viewers. It will also be broadcast live on France Inter, presented by Anna Sigalevitch.
