TAUS Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Copenhagen Fashion Week
TAUS SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 presented on the 3rd of August as part of Copenhagen Fashion Week’s new talent one to watch program at Møstings Hus.
It is an ode to the moment between late night and early morning. Dewy, mysterious, melancholic yet romantic. The Taus signatures, like use of upcycled materials, highly structured garments like corsets and tailored jackets, and a love of archival research, meet lighter fabrications and sensibilities and new colours in the Taus universe. Upcycled pieces include a bar jacket in upcycled leather with a worn denim trompe l’oeil effect, a soft yet structured mini dress made from a single burnout velvet silk scarf, and a dress and skirt crafted from nightgowns with straps at the hem for alternative ways of wearing.
TAUS SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection is available for bespoke orders, all crafted in the Taus Copenhagen Studio. A collaboration with Danish Jewellery Brand Pandora can be seen both in the collection’s styling, with unique jewellery assemblies done by Taus, as well as in three bespoke looks both featuring Pandora Surplus Jewellery. The presentation at Møstings Hus is accompaniedCopenhagen xhibition by Norwegian Artist Oscar Eriksson Furunes titled GLITRA.
“The works in GLITRA show photographic fragments from queer communities across time and place. The exhibition is based on queer-historical archival photographs and cultural codes, I explore the tension between the visible and the invisible, the persistent and the fleeting, the personal and the collective.” -Oscar Eriksson Furunes
