Scorpios Mykonos Become A Fashion Bazaar
Mykonos, 18 August 2026: Long before “beach club” became a global category, there was Scorpios. Founded on a sun-drenched peninsula of Mykonos in 2015 by Thomas Heyne, alongside Mario Hertel, who brought his own background in Berlin’s nightlife scene to the project, the destination became the reference point that a decade of beach clubs worldwide have since tried to imitate, drawing an international, high-end and famously well-dressed crowd along the way. Now, having spent a decade shaping how people party, Scorpios is turning its curatorial instinct toward how people dress, taking full ownership of its Bazaar for the first time this season and reporting a 45% rise in year-to-date revenue since bringing the offering In-house.
Today Scorpios reports it has taken over the curation and operation of its own Bazaar for the first time ever, revealing that 40% of its brands are new to the Bazaar this year alone, as it seeks to redefine the holiday wardrobe. Scorpios’ Bazaar also shares news of an impressive 45% revenue growth in its debut season in-house, with ambitious plans to build retail into a defining pillar through 2027 and 2028. The newly brought in-house Bazaar uniquely brings over 40 of the hottest emerging fashion designers, jewellery and accessory brands from around the world into one place, in contrast to other hospitality destinations purely offering large designer labels – this intentionally mirroring Scorpios’ reputation for unearthing talent early in its live music offering.
This season’s highlight includes a residency with headwear and accessories label, Ruslan Baginskiy which will continue to offer customisable holiday headwear until the end of September at Scorpios Mykonos. A few other new highlight names this season include Alex Rivière from Spain, Adriana Degreas from Brazil, and CHE Studios from the UK – full list in release below.
Having evolved from its beach party roots since opening its first Mykonos in 2015, it has now built a concept bringing together art, design, food and healing – these Bazaar plans now extend into 2027 and 2028 to expand its product range into home, objects, the introduction of Scorpios’ first fragrance, and further development of the Scorpios merchandise line.
The season’s centrepiece so far has been a summer-long residency with headwear and accessories label Ruslan Baginskiy from Ukraine, running from 12 July until the end of September – known for his creations being worn by celebrities such as Madonna, Beyoncé, Gigi and Bella Hadid. The Ruslan Bagiskiy space at Scorpios invites guests to customise signature styles with a limited-edition Scorpios medallion, turning each piece into a personal keepsake and an extension of the island itself – a format the team is already looking to build on with future partners through on-site workshops, styling salons and invite-only sessions with stylists and artisans.
Scorpios emerged as a creative gathering place on a sun-drenched peninsula of Mykonos in 2015, founded by Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel, two nightlife impresarios from southern Germany. As a return to the bohemian spirit of this windswept Cycladic island, this open-air enclave ushered in a cultural shift from all-night partying to all-day ease, through ceremonial rituals, inspiring events, and a festival atmosphere. Further expanding the Scorpios experience, the recently inaugurated Bodrum location takes the transition to immersive community experiences one step further, welcoming art installations and wellbeing rituals next to Scorpios’ signature music performances. Here, guests can stay overnight and move between moments of shared celebration and moments of self-connection, slowing their wellbeing journeys by a pace or two. Scorpios sets the standard for a new kind of beach experience that nurtures community and collaboration — an alternative to mainstream wellbeing and entertainment.
Scorpios & Soho House, in 2019, Scorpios joined the Soho House & Co family. As a platform for new ideas, synergies and artistic experimentation, Scorpios is a natural fit for Soho House & Co’s vibrant, diverse and global group of members. Built around a love of food, music, and design, both brands reflect a strong sense of place and a relaxed spirit of radical togetherness. Today, the Scorpios culture is designed to nourish all the senses, expand the mind, and welcome our eclectic, free-spirited, creative community on an uncharted journey to find their own rhythm.
