Camille Miceli’s FW26 collection for Pucci

Camille Miceli’s FW26 collection for Pucci, “IL PALIO”. Shot by Carlijn Jacobs, the campaign riffs on the golden age of nightclubs, with Grace Elizabeth playing the partygoer. In each intimate scene, she wears the Fall 2026 collection with a distinct sense of freedom and sexiness from dresses and trousers in the Fiamme print, placed so that it appears like animalic stripes, to pieces in gold lurex jersey that shimmer under the disco lights. Tightly framed, the shots bring us close to Grace, whose body language captures the seductive, liberated spirit of the season. She is the life of the party, with all eyes on her and her Pucci.

Inspired by the legendary horse race in Siena, the collection begins as a re-exploration of Emilio Pucci’s passions and his own interpretation of Siena’s contrade – the historic neighbourhoods with their own emblems. Prints pulsate with animalia motifs and colours run deep and rich. From an ancient annual tradition in Siena to the seductive atmosphere of Parisian nightclubs, the eternal energy of Pucci can take many forms. Evolving the bold DNA established by Emilio Pucci, Camille Miceli draws inspiration from il Palio the legendary horse race where the townspeople enter into proud competition while channelling the insouciance and aesthetic of the oiseau de nuit, so that both the collection and campaign reaffirm the house’s visual vibrancy.

Il Palio’s significance as an event of celebration and social gathering is woven throughout the season. The collection begins as a re-exploration of Emilio Pucci’s passions and his own interpretation of il Palio and Siena’s contrade the historic neighbourhoods with their own emblems. Prints pulsate with animalia motifs and colours run deep and rich. The irregular zigzags of Drago and the animal-flame graphic of Fiamme; the labyrinthine, unicorn-like geometry of Leocorno; the jagged edges and stars of Valdimontone and geometric landscape of Dune; the stylised waves of Onda, and the ribbon-like trompe l’œil and lavish tessellations of Baiadera taken together, these prints evoke to medieval symbolism and heraldic banners, only now as playful, contemporary abstractions. ’70s Materials and construction emphasize a wintery, structured feel. There is a down-filled, quilted matelassé jacquard piece with volume; a tweed from the past that has been re-coloured and reintroduced; new flared trumpet pants with a influence; and jersey lurex that returns in new, slinky variations. Silhouettes echo historical Palio figures while linking back to nights on the dancefloor. Pieces with crenelated edges like ceremonial flags are accented with eyelets, as jacquard patterned and signature Iride and Labirinto-printed tights accentuate the legs with an elongated effect.

The Il Palio collection extends its prints into accessories and figurative elements: motifs are extracted to create lingerie, jewellery, and bag details. Animals from the prints become charms, flames reappear across accessories, and handles are braided like horse reins as a nod to the Palio reference. Shoes feature medals like the those of the contrade whereas fish motif remain distinctly Pucci.
