VIVETTA Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Milan Fashion Week entitled Treasure & Trinkets. Memory and desire. One-of-a-kind pieces and echoes of art.
Reinterpreting codes, entering a new era. Vivetta SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection stems from the idea of the archive as a quiet statement of values. A heritage to be observed, because imagining something new does not necessarily mean turning one’s back on history. Instead, it means looking ahead, creating a contemporary language shaped by lightness, spontaneity and an effortless sense of elegance.
Playful and tailored, the collection is defined by a contrast of silhouettes. Sheer shirts are constructed with bold plastrons, while cinched-waist jackets and high-waisted skirts with long hems evoke a precise and sophisticated vision of summer tailoring. References to 50s and 60s couture shapes remain light and airy, with bustier inserts defining a strapless dress and outerwear featuring articulated sleeves with ribbed detailing. English riding-inspired touches meet cape-like cuts on a pristine white dress, while considered combinations of pleats and rippled pavé details feel as though they have emerged from the depths of a drawer.
The palette unfolds across sorbet and pastel shades, balanced by nude, black and bone white. Bright colours are layered and softened, in a play of overlapping tones that tempers their intensity without diminishing their vitality. Fitted, almost sculptural silhouettes appear suspended through the use of featherlight viscose, cotton gabardine, double-face cotton and taffeta nylon. The result is an everyday wardrobe that is never ordinary, where each piece holds an unexpected detail, an unusual construction or a hidden memory.
A chandelier effect draws the eye to the mini dress and skirt. Opening the doors to a secret treasure chest: the world of jewellery. Spheres, beads and small components once used to create jewellery in the 1970s, 80s and 90s are recovered and brought back into the spotlight. Removed from their original context, freely mixed and reassembled, they become exclusive, one-of-a-kind elements for necklaces, earrings and new bags in coral, oxblood, blue and luminous shades. Glass drops are set into new necklaces, in a gesture of recovery that becomes a new form of craftsmanship, transforming materials from the past into contemporary, playful and precious objects. Spontaneous, almost instinctive compositions rest on the body with a distinctly bohemian attitude.
Tailoring remains central to the menswear, but sheds its traditional formality to embrace a more relaxed dimension. Lightweight shirting, sporty influences and crew-neck tops crafted from precious fabrics such as silk come together to create an essential yet sophisticated wardrobe.
