In a world built on speed, we often grow the desires of the system before we recognize our own. After exploring ideas of transit, Dhruv Kapoor SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 turns towards awareness of the moment itself. Presence looks at what is already here, and how time quietly transforms the body, cloth, color and memory.

Dhruv Kapoor SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection translates this idea into a summer wardrobe shaped by layering, proportion and movement. Sun faded colors are interrupted by saturated tones, bringing different stages of age and growth into the same palette. Silhouettes shift in scale- from generous and elongated to cropped or close to the body. Draped forms sit alongside defined structures and familiar systems of dress are stripped back and reworked where the familiar Indian codes of the lungi, vest and sari become methods of wrapping and layering which are reconstructed in new proportions and configurations.

Foundational garments return softened, faded or altered, carrying traces of time and touch. Embroidery grows across seams and surfaces through creepers, loose stems and uninterrupted natural lines. Prints recall sun-faded posters, moss-like formations, aged wood and imagery drawn from different moments in time. Textiles move between weight and airiness. Silk is bonded with jersey to create structure, checks are crumpled and fused, and leather is wrinkled to resemble aged skin. Faded denim, tattered appliqu鬠mixed lace, softened poplin and bonded tailoring further shift the character of familiar materials. Alongside the “Constant” trunk, a maxi vanity pouch is introduced in wrinkled, bonded and hand-embroidered variations. The brand’s Mary Jane returns with a squared toe and evolves into a tasseled mule, while leather-wrapped thong sliders draw from the ease of Indian dressing.

Across Dhruv Kapoor SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection, nothing exists in a fixed state. Materials age, familiar forms evolve and traces of what came before remain visible. Presence lies in noticing these changes as they happen- what is already here, what is taking shape and what we choose to carry forward.

PUMA PARTNERSHIPS, SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 introduces PUMA X RCB X Dhruv Kapoor, a limited capsule where sport, belonging and re-engineered design meet. Existing codes from PUMA and RCB are revisited through the Dhruv Kapoor lens, where familiar forms are reconstructed in new proportions, surfaces and details, turning the past into something immediate, collectible and alive.

The collaboration extends the idea of Presence into product, looking at what already exists, what can be reworked and how familiar symbols can take on a new life. Part of the same dialogue between heritage and technology, SENNES by the House of Senco brings lab-grown diamonds into the collection. Held between the past and the future, the natural and the manmade, the pieces complete selected looks within an evolving system of dress. The vision is further extended through Paloceras, the Helsinki-based eyewear house known for sculptural frames. The collaboration brings a precise counterpoint to the collection’s study of time, form and transformation.
