Marea Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Milan Fashion Week entitled SCACCIAPENSIERI. Scacciapensieri begins with an exploration of lightness and movement.

Marea SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection starts with clean shapes, essential silhouettes and transparency. An initially simple image, almost stripped back to its essentials, gradually crossed by decorative and unexpected elements. Stripes appear across the surfaces, altering their rhythm. Sequins and beadwork catch the light, while sequin fringes move with the body, giving the garments a different dimension with every step. Decoration becomes part of the form. It is not there simply to add something, but to make the shape change. Light reflects across the surfaces, transparency reveals glimpses of the body, and fringes follow movement, creating an image that is constantly shifting.

The name Scacciapensieri literally translates as “thought-chaser.” It refers to a simple, light object that moves with the air and draws the eye — traditionally associated with the idea of keeping troubling thoughts at bay.

Marea SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection brings together seemingly opposing elements: the clarity of form and the richness of detail, transparency and surface, stillness and movement. Not a search for perfection, but for freedom.
