B ICONIC Third Edition During Milan Fashion Week

B ICONIC concluded its third edition on September 25 and 26, 2026, at Officine del Volo in Milan, during the fashion week in Milan, strengthening its new model as a platform dedicated to business, networking, brand visibility and concrete opportunities for brands. Conceived by Giulio Di Sabato, Simone Ruggeri and Mitch Mihic and produced by Caremoli & Ruggeri, the event marked a significant evolution with the debut of the Pop-up Store & Temporary Showroom in collaboration with Best Showroom. The initiative complemented the presentation of collections with a commercial dimension, including buyer meetings, direct sales and order acquisition, while also opening up to the retail sector with participants such as Matteo Sorbellini and Korean skincare brand Ongju.

B ICONIC Third Edition, A strong international focus and scouting activity were central to the event, featuring designers such as Kimooncho, Li Yuntao, Drycri, Sul Young Hee, Par.lune, Ludovica Milano, Golden Rabbit, Pelliot, Met Jeans and Massimo Sabbadin. This international dimension was further strengthened by the partnership with Fondazione Italia Cina and the Future Moda project, dedicated to fostering dialogue between Italy and China for young talents. As part of the project, Li Yuntao was selected by B ICONIC and Fondazione Italia Cina.

Particular attention was devoted to the new generation of designers through the B ICONIC Emerging Talent Program presented by Fondazione Fiera Milano, which enabled three talents from Marangoni, IED and IUAD to showcase their collections at no cost, benefiting from professional production as well as meetings with buyers and the press.

B ICONIC Third Edition event confirmed its interdisciplinary vocation through the dialogue between fashion and art curated by Sofia Curci, alongside site-specific installations by Eros Gasparini, Jacopo Rumignani, Federico Politanò and Alex Belli with The Materials collection. B ICONIC also reaffirmed its social commitment through Women for Women against Violence, its Official Social Impact Partner, conceived by Donatella Gimigliano and promoted by Consorzio Umanitas. The initiative brought Antonietta Tuccillo to the runway and promoted the Camomilla Fashion Award, created by master goldsmith Michele Affidato.

The B ICONIC Award jury, chaired by Professor Giovanni Bozzetti, President of Fondazione Fiera Milano, and represented on the first day by Cavaliere del Lavoro Mario Boselli, President of Fondazione Italia Cina, together with Giulio Di Sabato, included Francesco Boggio Ferraris, Director of Academy and Marketing at Fondazione Italia Cina; Giulio Di Sabato, B ICONIC co-founder and President of Camera Italiana Showroom Moda Best Showroom; Nicola Spadafora, President of Confapi Milano; Maura Basili, President of Camera Buyer Italia Best Shops; Jasmine Haffadi, entrepreneur, author and founder of StoreFit; Angelo Argento, President of Cultura Italiae and BRERA lecturer; Gennaro Migliore, International Director of Cultura Italiae; and Arturo Artom, engineer, entrepreneur and founder of the Forum della Meritocrazia and Cenacolo Artom.

Among the awards, the B ICONIC Award was presThe B ICONIC Emerging Talent Award presented by Fondazione Fiera Milano was awarded to Giovanni Alberto Acanfora of Istituto Marangoni for the collection L’Anello Mancante, in which zippers, buckles, hooks and fastenings become key elements of the construction, combined with oversized silhouettes and materials including crumpled leather, washed denim, ripstop and metallic surfaces. The program also involved Sofia Licari of IED and Benedetta Panuccio of Accademia IUAD Milano.

ented to KIMOONCHO for her contemporary reinterpretation of Eastern aesthetics and the kimono, entirely handmade by the designer using natural silk and original prints produced in Como. Second place went to Antonietta Tuccillo, who transforms the art of crochet into unique, handmade garments, born from a journey of strength and rebirth during cancer treatment.

The B ICONIC Award for Art was presented to Marzia Ratti, a visual and conceptual artist active since 2001 whose practice combines installation, painting, material and light with science, bioethics and psychology, exploring themes of identity and consciousness. The B ICONIC Award Excellence in Vision & Leadership, unanimously conferred by the Board of Directors and presented by Professor Bozzetti, was awarded to Maura Basili for her contribution to the development of independent retail and the promotion of Made in Italy. The B ICONIC Award Excellence in Couture & Cultural Heritage, presented by Jasmine Haffadi, went to Korean designer Sul Young Hee for more than forty years of dedication to haute couture, transforming Korean tradition into a contemporary language.

The B ICONIC Camomilla Fashion Award recognized Maria Elena Viola, Editor-in-Chief of Donna Moderna, for her journalistic commitment to rights, gender-based violence and women’s health. The award was presented by Ludmilla Voronkina Bozzetti, patron of Women for Women against Violence. The award also recognized Leo Mel for the courage he demonstrated in defending his sister and family, choosing justice without responding with violence; the award was presented by Nicolò Maja.
