He(ART) Presentation at Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27
Great success at Milan Fashion Week for the presentation of He(ART), Paul Andrew’s collection for Cuoio Di Toscana. Made in Italy excellence, research, sustainability and international creativity at the heart of the new women’s collection
Milan, September 24, 2026 – He(ART) is born from the encounter between the identity of Cuoio di Toscana and the international creative vision of Paul Andrew. A project that brings the Consortium’s distinctive values into contemporary fashion: a strong connection to the region, fine craftsmanship, research, sustainability and a Made in Italy vocation capable of engaging with the international fashion scene. The new women’s collection interprets these characteristics through a series of designs in which leather becomes a material for design, taking centre stage in unprecedented constructions, surfaces and volumes.
At the heart of the collection, The Fettuccine is an ironic, sophisticated and deeply Italian tribute to Italian style. The idea stems from the making of fettuccine and the possibility of applying to leather a technology similar to that used in pasta-making, working with precision on thickness and length.
In Paul Andrew’s design, slender strips of Cuoio di Toscana become structural elements of the shoe, intertwining to create an unprecedented silhouette. The result transforms a reference from Italian culture into a contemporary design object, available in gold, green and black.
The design expresses the extraordinary versatility of Cuoio di Toscana, a natural and noble material which, thanks to its technical and aesthetic qualities, offers creatives endless possibilities for interpretation. It is this versatility that has made it, over time, a material chosen and reinterpreted by international designers seeking quality, authenticity and new expressive possibilities. For more than forty years, Cuoio di Toscana has represented Italian excellence in the production of sole leather. Its identity is rooted in a wealth of expertise developed within the region and in a production culture that combines fine craftsmanship and innovation, while keeping the quality of the material and the value of the supply chain at its core. Within this journey, sustainability represents a fundamental principle. The Consortium’s production model enhances a natural material through vegetable tanning processes and an approach focused on environmental responsibility, traceability and the conscious management of resources. A vision in which product quality and care for the future move forward hand in hand.
Research completes this journey, continuously expanding the possibilities of the material and encouraging dialogue with the worlds of design and creativity. It is through this openness that Italy’s manufacturing heritage acquires a contemporary and international dimension, without losing its connection to its roots.
Alongside The Fettuccine, the collection includes Facet Sandal, a sculptural sandal in Cuoio di Toscana’s iconic green, featuring a gemstone-embellished heel; Disco, a Merlot-coloured pump with a tapered toe, a slim ankle strap and a disco-ball-effect heel covered in crystals; and Efficient Mule, in champagne and brown tones with a gold heel. Completing the collection is a feminine reinterpretation of the classic loafer, named Softy.
In He(ART) Presentation, The collaboration with Paul Andrew thus explores a new idea of Made in Italy, in which manufacturing heritage meets the creative freedom and sensibility of an international designer. A dialogue that demonstrates how a material deeply rooted in Italy’s production culture can continue to evolve, taking on new meanings in the present.
From September 21 to 28, during Milan Fashion Week Women’s, He(ART) took shape at Antonioli, the avant-garde and luxury fashion retailer internationally recognised for its ability to anticipate new trends and introduce emerging brands and creative languages to the contemporary fashion landscape. The choice reflects the very nature of He(ART): a project founded on research, experimentation and the ability to transform material into expression.
On September 23, Antonioli hosted the He(ART) presentation event, creating a moment of encounter between creativity, design culture and Italian savoir-faire. Throughout Fashion Week, the installation invited visitors to discover a project that brings one of the most authentic expressions of Italian excellence to the world. The collection is available exclusively at Antonioli.
