Christian Dior Women Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Paris Fashion Week. Romance, Nature and Imperfection.

For Spring/Summer 2027, Jonathan Anderson takes a lighter approach to Dior, allowing some of the house’s familiar femininity to move in a less rigid direction. Presented at the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, the collection plays with the contrast between tailored structure and fabrics that feel soft, light and almost weightless.

Sheer chiffon, pleated skirts, lace, feathers and floral prints bring movement to the clothes, while tailoring keeps a stronger sense of construction underneath. The contrast becomes one of the defining elements of the collection: oversized tailoring and metallic trousers sit alongside pieces that feel more delicate and romantic. Stripes and checks add another layer, while pastel pink, butter yellow and powder blue soften the overall palette.

Nature also appears in a more subtle way through the idea of wenwan walnuts, whose surfaces gradually develop a patina through repeated handling and movement. Rather than treating imperfection as something to correct, the idea connects with the way clothing can change character through being worn.

This gives Dior SS27 an interesting balance. Christian Dior Women SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection still carries recognizable elements of the house, but Anderson allows them to feel less formal and more relaxed. Instead of completely rewriting Dior, he seems more interested in loosening its existing codes—making them softer, more spontaneous and, in places, deliberately imperfect.
