Skepta Wears Stone Island Denim Research Autumn_Winter ‘026-‘027

October 1st 2026 – Stone Island introduces STONE ISLAND DENIM RESEARCH for Autumn_Winter ‘026-‘027. First re-introduced last year, Stone Island Denim Research is further developed this season with four seasonal washes; medium and light blue, grey, and black. New treatments such as Laser Pigment, Corroded Reflective and Hand Sprayed Reflective further cement Stone Island’s spirit of applying innovation to classic categories of menswear, rendering – sometimes literally – the familiar items in a new light. An example of Stone Island’s research into denim is the lightweight 13oz denim jacket, garment-dyed and laminated with a highly refractive film incorporating thousands of glass microspheres. It is then manually sprayed to achieve a shaded effect, making each garment unique and unrepeatable. The garment dyed down liner is attached to the outer using the iconic Dutch rope system. A fatigue-shirt serves as the base of this collection in lieu of the already familiar trucker jacket. Chambray shirting in indigo, brushed indigo, and organic cotton flannel rounds out the denim offering for this season.

As part of the ‘Community as a Form of Research’ campaign, rapper Skepta wears 4100002 HAND SPRAYED REFLECTIVE LIGHT BULL DENIM-TC: a lightweight 13oz denim jacket with a detachable down vest. Each piece is garment dyed, then laminated with a highly refractive film, and lastly manually sprayed to achieve a shaded effect.

Actor Stephen Graham wears 4100006 LASER PIGMENT INDIGO DENIM: a coach jacket in 13.5oz denim woven with indigo-dyed yarn, featuring multiple pockets and a front snap closure. Stone washed, manually sprayed with coloured pigments, and lasered with an irregular pattern, making each piece unique.
