For Spring/Summer 2027, KASAI presents ICARA, a feminine reimagining of the myth of Icarus. ICARA explores the desire to escape the structures that define us, those imposed by society and those we build around ourselves. In her search for freedom, she believes she needs wings. Only then does she discover that her soul has always been free.

The collection translates this journey through the contrast between structure and weightlessness. Elements rooted in the KASAI DNA, sharp tailoring, lapels and precise construction, dissolve into flowing silhouettes, sheer layers and elongated trains that move behind the body as if caught in flight.

Natural fabrics shape KASAI SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection: silk organza, silk voile, cotton and wool are layered to create transparency, movement and tension. Sheer tailoring, including silk and cotton blazers, meets intricate hand beading and flashes of lime green and deep burgundy. Sensuality runs throughout ICARA. Transparency reveals the body without exposing it completely; silhouettes are unapologetically feminine and sexy, yet never vulgar. As the collection unfolds, the garments become lighter and freer, mirroring a woman shedding what has confined her.
