HISU PARK Spring/Summer 2027 during Paris Fashion Week

HISU PARK Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 during Paris Fashion Week entitled WHY NOT

In HISU PARK SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection, WHY NOT, the joy found in small things becomes the starting point for a playful yet sensitive approach to clothing. At the heart of the collection are subtle fabric manipulations and delicate structures. Bubble and Crumble techniques shape the fabric into intricate, tactile surfaces that appear fragile at first glance, yet carry a strength of their own. WHY NOT explores the idea that these contrasts do not need to be resolved. Something can be fragile and strong at the same time. Playful and grown-up. Delicate and present, Joy, lightness, and depth can exist side by side.

HISU PARK SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection invites us to look more closely and to pay attention to the small things again. A surface, a shape, a movement, or a detail that might only reveal itself at second glance. Not everything has to be big to hold meaning. Often, it is the smallest things that move us. At the same time, something can simply be beautiful, bring joy, or invite us to play without becoming any less meaningful because of it. So why decide what something has to be when all of these facets can exist at once?

About the brand, HISU PARK founded in Vienna in 2023, HISU PARK is a womenswear label positioned between ready-to-wear and couture. The brand is defined by sculptural silhouettes, refined construction, and a distinctive balance between delicacy and structure. At the heart of HISU PARK lies an ongoing exploration of emotion and inner human states. These ideas are translated into form through expressive silhouettes, tactile surfaces, and garments that create a dialogue between the body, material, and movement. This exploration has led to the development of distinctive fabric manipulation techniques, with shrink-based constructions becoming a recognizable element of the brand’s visual language. Through these processes, fabrics evolve into three-dimensional surfaces that combine structure, movement, and adaptability. Alongside its Vienna atelier and online platform, HISU PARK has steadily developed an international presence through showroom presentations, editorial features, and celebrity placements. This growing visibility reflects the brand’s evolution from an independent Vienna-based label toward an emerging international designer label.

Hisu Park is an Austrian fashion designer and use her namesake to create and the founder of HISU PARK. Born in South Korea and raised in Austria, she developed an early interest in the arts through drawing, painting and classical music. Growing up in a family of classical musicians, creativity was a natural part of her everyday life and eventually led her towards fashion design. She studied fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where she developed her approach to garment construction and design. After returning to Austria, she expanded her education through courses in business and entrepreneurship.

Her work is rooted in a personal motivation. Drawn to structured clothing from an early stage, she found that strong silhouettes and defined construction gave her a greater sense of confidence. Today, this idea informs her collections, while fashion also serves as a way to express emotions and transform personal experiences into garments. Her current focus is on continuing to develop HISU PARK both creatively and commercially. While further refining the brand’s design language, she remains committed to the qualities that define her work, including sculptural silhouettes, fabric manipulation, and shrink based constructions. With a regular presence during Paris Fashion Week, the brand continues to expand its international visibility. Throughout this development, her Korean heritage, Austrian upbringing, and artistic background continue to shape a personal design language that explores the relationship between form, emotion, and the body.
