Stone Island Holiday Collection for AW ‘026 – ‘027
5 November 2026 – For the holiday season, Stone Island presents a selection for gifting defined by fabric research, functionality and distinctive design. Shot by Rory Griffin for the on model and Jasmina Martiradonna for the still life inside the salt mine of Petralia Soprana, Sicily, the campaign brings geological formations into dialogue with engineered materials, revealing contrasts in surface, texture and colour across the AW ‘026 – ‘027 collection.
Stone Island’s ongoing fabric research has led to the introduction of the Ice Knit down bomber jacket, featuring thermosensitive yarns knitted into panels. The semi-transparent knit reveals the black layer beneath the padding, creating a distinct chiaroscuro effect.
The new Reflective jacket is developed through a resin bath incorporating thousands of glass microspheres, followed by a manual airbrush application of matte pigments directly onto the finished garment. Wool brings a natural hand to peacoats and knitwear, balancing sculptural shapes with softer volumes. From innovative outerwear to knitwear, the holiday selection offers considered gifts for those who appreciate material experimentation and functional design. Garments can be layered and combined to suit different needs, extending their versatility beyond the season.
The colour palette finds echoes in the surrounding landscape, from mineral greys and earthy browns to shades of green, with blues and sunset red introducing contrasting accents.
The Stone Island AW ‘026 – ‘027 Holiday Collection campaign moves between expansive views of the salt mine and close-up studies of garments and surfaces. Suspended from cave walls or partially embedded in salt, the pieces bring Stone Island’s fabric research into direct dialogue with the mineral environment.
The Stone Island Holidays selection, including the Ice Knit down bomber jacket, will be available from 5 November, followed by the Digital Exclusive Smeraldo on 16 November.
