MTLstudio Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 Present Love Delirium at Milan Men’s Fashion Week

For the MTLstudio Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 “Love Delirium” collection, the kaleidoscopic and romantic setting of an antiques bazaar is chosen.

In the ephemeral and paradoxical atmosphere of the brocante, the theme of the double manifests itself in the play of colours, lights and shadows and permeates the entire collection.

The disruptive alternation of different fabrics and textures on the same garments enriches the classic Oxford and viscose shirts on which stripes and pastel colors run after each other, and where “Yin Yang” hearts divide on a black and white background. Just like the usual tailored suits with an over 80s cut, they are renewed through the packaging with contrasting fabrics.

For MTLstudio Fall Winter 2023 – 2024, The outerwear in Cosentino fabrics and faux fur in the variants of antique pink, gray and ivory are clouds.

The soft knitwear and wide quilted shirts in matching with the shoppers burst with lively shades.

The volume features maxi cardigans in alpaca yarn and baggy corduroy and denim trousers in washes soiled with oil stains.

The numerous prints reproduce large telephone receivers, lipstick imprints, careless smudges and love messages on viscose and crepe georgette in a whirlwind of emotions and nostalgia that give substance to the dream told by MTL.

Born in Modena in 1989 Matteo Lamandini attended first the Accademia Europea in Bologna and then Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. He has worked as Menswear Assistant at MSGM and Marni and then won “Designer for Tomorrow” in 2014. From there he decided to start his eponymous collection from the SS16 and also designed a capsule collection for Tommy Hilfiger that was presented during Berlin Fashion Week.

Matteo Lamandini collections mixing classic menswear and street style icons are becoming uniforms for the new generation of Italian trappers and musicians: MTLstudio jackets shirt and overalls have been chosen from artists like Ghali, J-Ax and Salmo, just to name a few.
