Happy Socks Presents Solids SS24 at Berlin Fashion Week. THE WORLD’S FIRST SOCKS RUNWAY, WHAT ARE YOU HIDING? SOLIDS SPRING SUMMER 2024 COLLECTION.

Some genius once said that the most unexpected thing to do is the obvious, and we couldn’t agree more. So here’s Solids, a collection of socks in just one, solid color each. Because sometimes, a single pop of color is all you need.

WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?

The concept is born out of the conviction that a large portion of humans are hiding their true colors (read socks) for various reasons—be it norms, society, culture or old rules. We are asking all HAPPY HUMANS to roll up their pant legs, or not wear pants at all and show their true colors.

THE STYLIST

Berlin-based stylist Theresa Gross, whose work is characterized by a unique take on street style, authenticity and personality over trends, blends perfectly with the Happy Socks’ mission, inspiring authentic self-expression through color, creativity, and fun. Gross has focused on environmental sustainability with a curated selection of second-hand and Vintage garments as the foundation of the looks mixed with the SOLIDS SS24 collection of Happy Socks.

CASTING

The casting has been a tight collaboration between the Happy Socks team and Hien Lee Casting. Happy Socks has brought in a mix of performers, acrobats, dancers as well as community members from Berlin. These profiles span the creative spectrum from creators and artists all the way to a food stylist. Throughout, there’s one word uniting them all: Authenticity.
