Noon By Noor Fall/Winter 2025 / FW25 at London Fashion Week
LONDON, 21st February 2025 – Founders and Designers Shaikha Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Mohamed Al Khalifa of Noon By Noor unveiled their Fall/Winter 2025 collection in a salon-style presentation today at London’s prestigious Somerset House.
This season, the designers reflect on the interplay between structure and fluidity, heritage and modernity, drawing inspiration from Bahrain’s architectural landscape—specifically, the striking work of Swiss architect Christian Kerez, whose multi-storey car parks in the historic city of Muharraq in Bahrain seamlessly transform into communal spaces for art, culture and movement.
“We are fortunate to have been nurtured in art and architecture, both in our home and in our surroundings in Bahrain–a place rich in both, from which we can draw constant inspiration,” said Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa.
Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa added, “While working on this collection, we focused on finding a sense of balance between structure and curves, elegance and ease, function and frivolity, a balance between generations: a collage of the past, the present and the future.”
Precision tailoring takes center stage, with sculptural jackets, draped bodices, and sliced silhouettes that subtly reveal slivers of skin. Dresses and skirts follow suit, exuding boldness, drama, and cinematic allure, all carefully crafted in the brand’s atelier.
Embellishments are minimal but impactful. The designers turned to fabric itself for embellishment, employing a technique of stripping and fraying wool tweeds and reapplying them onto tulle to create a new, lightweight fabric. This innovative approach brings texture and depth to dresses and separates, adding a sense of movement and fluidity to each piece.
In collaboration with Sound Designer Uwe Doll, Noon By Noor has created an emotive, cinematic soundtrack for Fall/Winter 2025, bold yet familiar—much like the collection itself. The music serves as the perfect complement to the designs, reinforcing the idea of evolution over conclusion, a key theme for this season.
