LVMH Prize 2026 For Young Fashion Designers, 13th edition – the winners: Julie Kegels, LVMH Prize / Lii, Karl Lagerfeld Prize / Yoshita 1967, Savoir-Faire Prize

Paris, 4th September 2026, The final of the 13th edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers took place on 4th September 2026 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. The winners were selected by a Jury consisting of twelve creative directors from LVMH houses – Jonathan Anderson, Sarah Burton, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Nicolas Ghesquière, Stella McCartney, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Camille Miceli, Nigo, Phoebe Philo, Michael Rider and Pharrell Williams – as well as Delphine Arnault, Pietro Beccari, Jean-Paul Claverie and Sidney Toledano. The Thai actress Urassaya Sperbund also joined the 2026 Jury as a special guest.

Delphine Arnault stated: “Once again, I had the honour of welcoming the members of this prestigious jury to the Fondation Louis Vuitton. I would like to thank them warmly for their commitment to this year’s competition and for their invaluable support of emerging designers. This year, the LVMH Prize was awarded to Julie Kegels for her multi-faceted, contemporary wardrobe that champions individuality. The Karl Lagerfeld Prize, meanwhile, was awarded to Lii, whose designs seamlessly blend sportswear with couture influences. The Savoir-Faire Prize went to Yoshita 1967 for his artisan- and community-led fashion project that champions handiwork. I would like to warmly congratulate all the finalists and applaud their unique talent and exceptional creativity. Furthermore, I wish to express my deep gratitude to Jennifer Lawrence, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Urassaya Sperbund – three truly inspiring figures – for their presence here today.”

THE LVMH PRIZE, The Jury awarded the LVMH Prize to the Belgian designer Julie Kegels, 27, founder of the namesake womenswear brand. She will receive a 400,000€ endowment and will be mentored for one year by a team of LVMH experts. Jennifer Lawrence, dressed in Dior, presented the LVMH Prize to Julie Kegels.

THE KARL LAGERFELD PRIZE, The Karl Lagerfeld Prize was awarded to the Chinese designer Zane Li, 25, founder of the womenswear and menswear brand Lii. It includes a 200,000€ endowment and a year’s mentorship by the LVMH Group. The actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, dressed in Dior, revealed the name of the winner of this prize.

THE SAVOIR-FAIRE PRIZE, The Savoir-Faire Prize was awarded to the Kenyan designer Anil Padia, 35, for his womenswear brand Yoshita 1967. He will receive 200,000€ and enjoy a one-year mentorship by a team of LVMH experts. He will also enjoy support from the LVMH Métiers d’Excellence through a collaboration with Maison Vermont, the embroidery specialist, which will provide Yoshita 1967 with 50,000€ of embellishments for his upcoming collection. The prize was presented by the actress Urassaya Sperbund, dressed in Louis Vuitton.

Each of the winners will benefit from a specific mentoring programme as well as an allowance from the Nona Source platform, which upcycles deadstock materials from the Group’s Fashion and Leather Goods brands. The winner of the LVMH Prize will enjoy a 20,000-euro fabric allowance, while the winners of the Karl Lagerfeld and Savoir-Faire Prizes will each enjoy a 10,000-euro allowance.

Lastly, the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Graduates was announced. Three recent fashion school graduates were recognized: María Alborés, who studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Candice Morin of IFM (Paris) and Louis Presencer of Central Saint Martins (London). They and their alma maters will receive a grant of 10,000 euros each. Respectively, the graduates will join the studios of Dior womenswear, Celine menswear and Louis Vuitton men’s accessories.
