FFORME Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at New York Fashion Week

“It suited my rebellion” — Judy Blame. For Spring/Summer 2027, FFORME imagines a new Manhattan tribe. Reclaiming the rebellion that defined American sportswear, familiar archetypes are dismantled then rebuilt into a sharp new uniform.

FFORME SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 Inspired by the bricolage of Judy Blame, hardware and readymades are repurposed as adornment in collaboration with Alba Navarro of ANH Studio. Tiny perfume bottles. Reclaimed silver box clutches. Lures and tackle. Signet rings, strung into chains. What begins as utility becomes liberation.

Details of FFORME SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027, The shirt, the jean, and the car coat are reduced to their essence, then recast through precision cutting, subtraction and release. Slashed and creased, familiar forms establish a new model uniform. The tribe advances from the Bowery to Park Avenue. A paper-light, heat-seamed car coat in silk cotton faille accompanies a narrow skirt, split at the center front. The length is shortened for the season. A razor-sharp dress with a geometric V-neckline meets a bandage bandeau. Crisp architectural shirting with concealed patch-pocket detailing joins hand-tailored trousers. Slashed backs peel and fold away to reveal the body. Single-breasted tailoring in silk cotton faille and silk linen sheds its weight. The shoulder follows its natural curve. The canvas recedes.

Fit-for-purpose workwear in Japanese indigo denim is sliced with buttery nappa leather. Interior patch pocketing shadowed with top stitching. Utility is Reconsidered. Liquid twill meets leather panelling in an unstructured wrap coat that belts loosely at the low waist, introducing movement and release. Linen dresses are belted with leather strapping and buckles that circle the body, exposing slices of skin. Abstract lace mesh shrouds the body in gauzy transparency over a knit bodysuit. Real metal lamé is cut into minimal suiting that captures the city’s summer light and returns it, transformed.

Colors: Ebony. Bone. Optic White. Indigo. Steel. Burnished Gold.
