LII Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at New York Fashion Week on September 14th 2026

Can we miss something we never knew? This collection began with a question in naïveté and experience, and the uncertain space between them. In the voice of 60s teen idols, there is emotional weight that seems to belong to someone much older: heartbreak, longing and resignation expressed before they could possibly have been fully lived. It led to an exploration of whether experience is necessary to understand a feeling. We inherit emotions through songs, films and clothes. We become nostalgic for periods we never experienced and recognize ourselves in people whose lives are far removed from our own. At some point, memory and imagination are blurred.

LII SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection looks at the 1960s through this distance. Familiar codes of youth, propriety and romance are filtered through contemporary experience. Surreal colors, touches of vinyl, mini-dresses and spongy fabrics—bold relics of a time that offer a childlike optimism needed for today. Familiar silhouettes of the brand appear throughout . Anoraks re-conceived as detachable hoods, affixed to camisoles and dresses in place of decorative collars. The T-shirt is layered and spliced up covering and exposing the body at once. Square panels create architecture and volume in cocktail dresses that seem to float atop the body, adding sculpture and color-blocking to skirts.
